To call for help you need to pick up your phone and call the emergency number and have to tell your location but this becomes impossible in many situations like kidnap, rape, hijack, accident, heart attack, etc.
With RescueMe you just have to do a combination using the volume buttons of your phone to automatically send an emergency message which tells what type of emergency you are in with your GPS location to the emergency service. You can do this without even taking your phone out your pocket.
